No experience needed Weekly Pay Flexible Schedules $23.00 per hr Allied Universal Event Services, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a ROAM Response Team Officer. The Roam Response Team Officer will provide incident-response teams at client venues for sports, concerts, and special events. This role may be on foot, bicycle or motorized vehicle depending on venue and deployment. The ROAM Response Team Officer shall respond to incidents either observed or called in from command post, in support of regular security personnel and on-duty law enforcement. The ROAM Response Team Officer may be required to compose reports, be part of eviction teams and deter criminal activity and misconduct. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform roaming security patrols of designated areas at special events, on foot or in vehicle
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn violators of client rule infractions, such as unruly behavior, or carrying forbidden articles
- Permit authorized persons to enter restricted areas and monitor entrances and exits
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of client and company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
- Respond to Incidents as directed by client, managers, and law enforcement
- Request law enforcement assistance as needed and support law enforcement as requested
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by client and company
- Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
- Make productivity and safety recommendations to management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Service in any military branch, preferably with a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) related to law enforcement, security (e.g., Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms), or any support role in a Combat Zone
- Active or retired status as a law enforcement officer, including police, sheriff, federal and state agents, and corrections officers
- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, firefighter, or first-responder type of experience
- Police Officer Standards Training (POST) Certified
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- Associate's degree (or sixty credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
