Essential Functions: When delegating or accepting a task, clarifies instructions, and arranges for appropriate resources and support. Ensures staffing levels meet patient requirements. Adheres to requirements for review of corporation and facility manuals and demonstrates compliance with these and other policy directives. Promotes staff effectiveness/competency through goal setting, role modeling and provision of learning opportunities. Participates in on-going education (e.g., in-services, continuing education, etc.) to seek out and apply new professional and technical concepts, seeks additional certifications as appropriate. Develops/revises plan for patient care delivery in assigned areas. Identifies and corrects actual/potential problems. Ensures the provision of Patient Family education.
