Location: Field Remote (Chicago, IL). Must live in the Chicago area

What You Will Learn:

The Regional Educator will serve as a brand ambassador and education leader within their assigned territory. This role demands expertise in content delivery, dynamic facilitation skills, and a passion for engaging storytelling. The Regional Educator will collaborate closely with sales teams, salon partners, and key stakeholders to execute impactful education initiatives that drive brand growth and elevate the professional beauty landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Expertise and Education Delivery

  • Serve as the ultimate authority and representative of the assigned brand within the territory, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of brand products, history, and values.
  • Deliver exceptional education experiences that captivate and inspire audiences through engaging storytelling, effective content delivery, and dynamic facilitation.
  • Execute both online and offline education classes and initiatives within the territory, ensuring high-quality experiences that meet the unique needs of diverse learners.

Sales Collaboration and Strategic Partnerships

  • Partner seamlessly with the sales team to support the execution of education strategies that align with brand sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Salon Management (SAMs) to provide tailored support for key accounts and drive prospect conversions.
  • Collaborate effectively with Salon Business Partners (SBPs) to implement education strategies that optimize In-Salon Merchandising Systems (ISMS) and drive new business.
  • Partner with Community Managers to execute impactful cluster classes and in-store events, maximizing brand visibility and engagement.
  • Actively participate in brand partnership events and prospecting initiatives to expand brand reach and influence within the territory.

Performance and Impact

  • Drive market share growth by delivering exceptional education experiences that translate into tangible business results.
  • Conduct thorough post-education follow-ups with top accounts and new partnerships to nurture relationships and reinforce learning.
  • Achieve territory targets for education class and event ticket sales, maximizing participation and revenue generation.

Digital Fluency and Social Media Mastery

  • Demonstrate mastery of social media platforms, leveraging them strategically to:
    • Create engaging content (including reels) that amplifies brand messaging and resonates with target audiences.
    • Cultivate a thriving online community through active engagement and interaction.
    • Leverage digital channels for education, reaching broader audiences with brand expertise.
    • Employ social prospecting techniques to identify and connect with potential new business opportunities.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Utilize the Attendance Management System (AMS) to track 100% of attendees touched during facilitated classes, ensuring accurate reporting and data-driven insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Cosmetology License
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an educator for a Professional Beauty Brand
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful education programs across multiple channels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regional Educator will be strategically located in a metropolitan city, (assigned and approved by the Redken Brand), that will support Salon Accounts with the greatest growth potential within an approximate 150-mile radius from the assigned home base. Directionally, each travel day will not exceed 2.5 hours (150-miles) out into the territory, in one direction (or a maximum of approximately 300 miles round trip). Major Brand Launch Blitz or Salon Conversions may require pre-planning with RE/EEM/DOE in specific regions.
