Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer specializing in hardware to join our client's team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will focus on the design, maintenance, and optimization of automation and control systems hardware. Key Responsibilities:

  Design and implement control system hardware, including PLC and DCS hardware platforms.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain and troubleshoot Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Business Critical Systems.

  
  
• 
  

  Perform upgrades, testing, and configuration of control systems per manufacturer recommendations and customer specifications.

  
  
• 
  

  Build and commission controllers from scratch, ensuring functionality and reliability.

  
  
• 
  

  Manage parts inventory and coordinate with manufacturers for technical support.

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system performance with operational goals.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

  
  
• 
  

  Minimum of 5+ years of experience in control systems engineering with a focus on hardware.

  
  
• 
  

  Proficiency with Honeywell Experion and other control system platforms.

  
  
• 
  

  Hands-on experience in the design and commissioning of PLC and DCS systems.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  
  
• 
  

  Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external vendors.
