Job Description:

Responsible for hook-up and scanning of Holter and Event Monitors on pediatric, adolescent, adult and
geriatric patient populations. Records and processes 12 lead electrocardiographic recordings for diagnostic purposes on all patient populations. Perform clerical duties as necessary for completion and processing of all testing modalities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) - required within 90 days of hire

• Must obtain Basic Arrhythmia and 12 Lead EKG Course within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a physician's office, transcription pool, or as a department secretary preferred.

• Previous EKG and computer experience preferred.

• Certification as Cardiographic technologist preferred.
