DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will perform data entry of various types, and assist with opening mail and logging certified mail received in the units. Duties include updating PA driver and non-driver records by processing forms and statements, as well as other documents received through the mail. Additionally, you will ensure that all fees received within the unit are accounted for and delivered to the appropriate work unit on a daily basis; respond to phone calls and reply to internal requests; and receive license products from sanctioned drivers, maintain accurate records of the products in a secure filing system, and return products to customers with correspondence when their sanctions have been completed and driving privileges restored.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
