Do you have strong organizational and attention to detail skills? The Department of Corrections is looking for a highly motivated and dependable Corrections Stock Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, receiving, and distributing inventory for a variety of stock items and supplies within the warehouse and/or commissary area at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Phoenix. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for inventorying stock and receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and raw materials. You will have the opportunity to train and monitor inmate workers in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies. Your work includes preparing routine reports and maintaining an accurate delivery log. This position operates motor vehicles, forklifts, or hand trucks to move oversized or heavy items, remove scrap materials, or make deliveries. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirement:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
