DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will provide care for physically ill patients by administering appropriate treatments and preventive measures, always prioritizing patient safety. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical and neurological assessments, coordinating patient transfers to community hospitals, and delivering daily medical care. You will work closely with treatment teams, participate in staff and hospital committee meetings, and contribute to patient education and wellness initiatives. Strong communication skills are essential to foster positive relationships with staff, families, agencies, and others involved in our patients' care and well-being. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position requires on-duty physician coverage as scheduled.
- Overtime: As needed
- May change based on operational needs.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
