Maintenance Mechanic

POSITION SUMMARY:

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to Maintenance & Facilities Manager and support the operations group in the shop.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilities equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
• Lead a variety of plumbing, maintenance and carpentry projects throughout the facility
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

EDUCATION: The right candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' related experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment.

Adhere to defense industry's initiatives on business ethics and conduct with respect to fraud, waste, and abuse. Meet compliance requirements of Pursuit Aerospace Business Conduct Guidelines as applicable to this position.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $23.00- No maximum hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
