Pay: $35.00/hr. - $45.00/hr. + Overtime + Per diem where applicable

Requirements:



  • 5 years of experience working on United States Army Corps of Engineers construction projects
  • 2 years of experience as a quality control manager
  • 10 years of combined experience as a superintendent, quality control manager, project manager, or project engineer on vertical/horizontal construction projects
  • Current United States Army Corps of Engineers "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" Certification
  • Ability to pass Department of defense security clearance for base access
  • Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques
  • Proficiency with Resident Management Systems Programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


Job Duties: As the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining the project submittal log and all other project-specific quality control reports. You will review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications through direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary. Your duties will be to chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes as described in project-specific contract documents. Additionally, you will maintain the Resident Management System (RMS) to ensure all contract and testing documentation is submitted to the government according to the specifications.
