Advantage Technical is seeking an experienced QC Microbiology Associate III for our client onsite in Irvine, CA! A great opportunity with a fantastic company!



Pay Rate
: $29 an hour for the right level of experience. Since it is also and end of weeknight shift, the person should also get paid a 7.5% shift differential.

Shift: End of weeknights, Wednesday- Sat. and alternate every other Wednesday. 5:30pm-5:30am - they get OT after 8 hours.

Contract Duration:12 months and high probability of conversion!

Required:

Environmental and product testing in QC Microbiology at a Senior level.

Ability to work independently and also collaborate well with others such as production teams.

Ability to work independently and figure things out on their own; Problem solver.

Biology/Science Degree preferred.

Receiving/labeling/preparation/sampling/testing/counting/checking & recording of data analysis on finished products. Stability test samples and any other test reqs as directed.

Breakdown of typical job duties:

Lab Upkeep: (10%)

Prepare samples, equipment, materials for testing

Glassware, lab cleaning

Data entry

Pick up CDS / supplies / inventory from warehouse, TS Lab, QA Docs

Environmental Monitoring: (40%)

Viable Air - MAS & SMA

Viable Surface - Swabs and Rodacs

Airborne Particulate Matter

Anaerobic Monitoring

Compressed Air sampling

Clean Steam Sample Collection

Sampling WFI for LAL & Bioburden

WFI & Dextrose Bioburden

Testing: (40%)

Sterility - Product and Raw material

Subvisible Particulate Matter Testing - Product and Raw Material

LAL - Product, Raw Material, Components, and Water

Project support: (10%)

Incubator / fridge requal

Simple non-conformance investigations

Data sheet update or small procedure update

Execute B&F following a protocol

Execute I&E following a protocol

Execute quarterly bioburden / sterility testing on carriers

Execute UV Requal

Execute BI Requalification

Execute Autoclave Requalification

Manage Inventory - purchasing / supplies

Data Sheet management

Training new employees

Peer review / Data review

Preparation of Batch Records

Metrology - coordinate / manage for lab equipment

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
