Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and mission-drivenProduct Director - Screening to lead the product strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our Screening products portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the diagnostics industry, a proven track record of launching impactful products, and the ability to align cross-functional teams toward common goals. This individual will act as the primary contributor to product deliverables and will be responsible for ensuring the execution and success of the overall roadmap.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional team to define the strategic vision and Screening product roadmap to ensure alignment with company goals and market trends.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to commercialization and post-launch support including the creation of business cases, requirements, and product materials.
  • Represent the voice of the customer throughout the development process ensuring market fit and clinical impact.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive successful product launches and sustained market success.
  • Leverage market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and growth.
  • Partner with Finance to create and manage project budgets and financial performance metrics; develop and execute plans for optimization.

Qualifications
  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product development and leadership experience, including at least 3 years within the diagnostics or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
  • Proven track record of launching and managing successful products in diagnostics, medtech, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of product development process, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Customer-focused with a strong sense of accountability.
Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $180,600 to $243,800. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment.Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
