Corporate Food Services Project Manager

The Opportunity:

As a Project Manager, you understand that client engagement and keen attention to detail are crucial when overseeing the life cycle of a project. As a Facilities professional at Booz Allen, you will use your client engagement skills to impact projects that will elevate the operational efficiency and excellence of a large government food services contract. This role involves oversight of food service operations, equipment inventory, customer service, catering, and event coordination, contributing directly to organizational effectiveness and strategic success. We need someone like you who is eager to grow your communications skills and be part of complex projects that will enhance the client's organizational effectiveness and contribute to the achievement of our strategic mission.

On our team, you will work on challenging projects for sensitive missions from conception to completion while coordination and collaborating with senior leadership. Using computer-related facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you will help develop creative solutions for mission-critical projects in facilities support services.

You will play a significant role in managing our services support contract by ensuring vendor compliance with food service standards, conducting routine inspections, evaluating equipment functionality during site visits, and collaborating with the client to maintain satisfaction in daily operations. What You'll Work On:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret and communicate contract requirements, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

  • Serve as a primary liaison for government agencies, implementing and promoting effective communication while maintaining strong working relationships.

  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, addressing deviations with actionable solutions.

  • Oversee service delivery, emphasizing high standards, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in secure environments.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in food service, event coordination, or hospitality management, demonstrating an ability to manage operations effectively

  • Experience in monitoring service quality and preparing detailed, professional audit reports to maintain high standards

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to clients and vendors in professional settings to drive improvements and build strong relationships

  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation

  • Experience in verifying and compiling data and conducting inventories, as well as scheduling appointments, briefings, and training sessions

  • Ability to excel in a dynamic office environment, collaborating effectively with diverse teams

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to engage effectively with various levels of leadership

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Food and Beverage Management

  • ServSafe Manager Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
