Boys Lacrosse Varsity Assistant Coach
Park High School Compensation: Contract is based on Teacher's Contract Schedule C - 21 base points or $2982 base contract rate. * Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior. * Positive, high energy, and committed. * Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc. * View success not just as winning; but as helping team members to reach goals. * Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching, including a transformational coaching purpose statement A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is preferred for assistant coaches and REQUIRED for head coaches. The mission of the Park High School Activities Department is to create learning opportunities for students to develop character, become well-rounded citizens, and achieve excellence in their school, activities, and community. REPORTS TO: Head Varsity Boys Lacrosse coach and Park High School Athletics/Activities Director, who provides overall job objectives and observes performance in conjunction with the High School Principal. JOB GOALS: To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Concurrently, student-athletes shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride in accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and confidence. Coach shall demonstrate substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport as well as successfully establish positive relationships with all stakeholders.
