This Remote position is open to any qualified applicant in the United States, located in PST/MST time zone.

Job Title: Sr. Azure Data Engineer - Remote Responsibilities:
  • Skilled in ADF(Ingestion) and L1 Curation -Azure Databricks (PySpark)
  • Coordinate and lead all aspects of Azure Development by offshore team members and distribution schedule to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Ensuring the highest quality for every project/request. Responsible for error resolution, follow up and performance metrics monitoring.
  • Convert concepts to technical architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Design and build BI solutions with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and high reliability.
  • Develop data curation pipelines for reporting needs using ADLS/ADF and Azure Databricks (Spark & SQL)
  • Manage creation of comprehensive workflows for the production and distribution of assigned reports, document reporting processes and procedures.
  • Code optimization / tuning under guidance from Architects
  • Integrating the end-to-end Databricks pipeline to take data from source systems to target data repositories ensuring Data quality and consistency has context menu
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this role is between $68,000 to $109,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This job is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
