Job DescriptionWe are seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Data to lead our data initiatives and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for the product development and management of our data-driven capabilities and solutions for commercial clients including the vision, strategy, and product development to drive innovation and excellence for financial institutions and their business clients around the world, in alignment with Commercial Solutions and the Global Data Office. This role will manage data as a platform as well as a service to support all commercial payments and drive unique revenue flows. As a key member of the global product leadership team, the Vice President of Data plays a critical role in defining the strategy and future investments in data across all clients and product segments. You will have end-to-end global accountability and responsibility for developing a comprehensive suite of solutions that align to Visa's overall data infrastructure strategy to deliver value and drive engagement for internal and external stakeholders. The focus of the Data Platforms team is (1) determine the strategic applications and use cases of data within commercial payments, (2) develop high-value data-driven products which amplify our core product and software solutions in support of these use cases, and (3) develop strategic vision and roadmap to drive significant growth within commercial payments with data as the lever. With data being the fuel that drives our future, our strategic and technological approaches to how we collect, manage and work with data will define Visa's future growth prospects. This individual will be responsible for helping the head of global product, the VCS leadership team and Visa's overall data leadership executives more broadly, to identify and create data solutions which solve significant pain points for commercial clients. The role will be highly visible across the organization and will have broad reach and impact both horizontally across the VCS organization, the broader Visa Product organization and globally across our Regions and Markets. The successful candidate will have deep experience in payments and data-related businesses. The ideal candidate is extremely well organized, articulate, and agile in managing multiple threads of complex problems and programs. Equally importantly, the ideal candidate thrives while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that rewards clarity of organization and communication. He/she must have proven experience in developing and leading teams to commercialize innovative products that exceed client expectations. This role requires strategic leadership, innovation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills. He/she will bring prior experience in hands-on development of data insights, products and solutions. He/she is creative and hands-on, has a bias towards action and is able to inspire others with his/her vision. The role reports to the SVP, Global Product for Visa Commercial Solutions with an indirect line to the SVP, Global Head of Data. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 194,700 to 357,900 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
