Sustainability is integral to UnitedHealth Group's business strategy, culture, and mission. We strive to ensure the health care system works better for everyone, delivering distinct value to our shareholders and society at large. Our businesses operate under regulatory licenses governed by state insurance laws and federal and state banking regulations, requiring defined levels of capital to support operations.

Investment management at UnitedHealth Group oversees the investment of approximately $80 billion in capital, adhering to investment policies, guidelines, and regulatory limits. Our goal is to optimize the risk/return profile of the overall portfolio by diversifying investments across high-quality asset classes.

  • Provide research and decision support related to special projects as needed
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and provide reporting as needed
  • Partner with UHG's internal audit and accounting teams to ensure appropriate governance over cash trading activities
