Description The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health is a $4.6B single award DHMSM IDIQ contract, known as MHS GENESIS. This highly visible program provides modernization of Electronic Health Records (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense, supporting nearly 10 million service members and their families worldwide. While every healthcare system is addressing quality, user experience and cost, the MHS GENESIS program has the added challenge of delivering these objectives within the DOD security environment, at the DOD's global scale, all while supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA)'s vision of a medically ready force which is essential to our national defense. Leidos is seeking a dynamic leader to become the DoD Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO). This is a newly created position designed to provide sound leadership to support execution and drive continuous innovation for our dynamic customers and stakeholders. As the CTIO you will serve as the senior leader responsible for leading the program's technical and innovation efforts. You will be empowered to oversee the development and implementation of new products, services, and business models by identifying emerging trends, fostering a creative culture, and ensuring the company stays ahead of industry competition through strategic innovation initiatives.You can expect to be collaborating closely with other departments to align technical and innovation strategies with overall business goals. This position requires being well-versed in current healthcare technological trends and experienced with Digital Health concepts. Strategic thinking, an innovative mindset, and strong business acumen are also essential in this role. The CTIO will communicate with program staff, industry partners, the wider Leidos ecosystem, and our customers to share the Leidos vision. The DHMSM CTIO will collaborate with the Military Health System Division CTO and other key customer stakeholders to bring Leidos wide capabilities and innovations to the program. This collaboration will include developing DHMSM use-cases to leverage corporate investments, driving innovations through the Health and Civil Sector Innovation Lab and collaborating on technical upskilling and resource planning.
