Overview

Must be enrolled as a student at Methodist College.

  • Maintain the Center for Student Success (CSS) during evening hours.Responsible for assisting and guiding students who utilize the CSS through one-on-one and group tutoring sessions.

Responsibilities

Key Accountability

Conducts study workshops/educational sessions as needed to facilitate the understanding of core courses

Accountable for tracking student visits and entering data in a timely manner.

Maintains current knowledge and application of writing according to the APA writing style requirements.

Provides APA tutoring, writing reviews, and other activities designed to help students with academic and professional writing.

Collaborates with the Director and the Nursing Coordinator to ensure student and faculty needs are being addressed accurately.

Maintains the security and cleanliness of the CSS and monitors student use of the facilities.

Other duties as assigned or required.
