Minimum Qualifications |
Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications. |
Preferred Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or higher in social science, program evaluation or a closely-related field (psychology, social work, human development, public health, education) from an accredited institution preferred.
- Preferred training and/or professional development and/or experience in conducting evaluation and needs assessments including developing evaluation plans, logic models and outcomes tracking matrices.
- Data visualization skills in preparing infographics, graphs, and charts to communicate evaluation or research findings in visually appealing reports is preferred.
- Skill in planning and executing data analysis and summarizing results preferred.
- Interviewing skills and experience preferred.

Position Summary |
This individual will assist in the implementation of program evaluations, needs assessments, and qualitative or quantitative research including collecting and entering data, assisting in the development of evaluation plans for process and outcomes evaluations, logic models and outcomes tracking matrices. |

- Demonstrated training and/or professional development and/or experience in designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
- Knowledge or experience in using programs such as Microsoft word, excel, access, Qualtrics, SPSS, NVivo, or similar applications.
- Strong data skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.

- Assists in the implementation of program evaluations, needs assessments, and qualitative or quantitative research.
- Assists in developing data collection measures (surveys, focus group protocols) and in analyzing data using qualitative or quantitative research analysis methods including working with large databases, data cleaning and organizing.

- Assists in conducting literature reviews, environmental scans.
- Conducts interviews, focus groups and surveys related to data collection. This may involve statewide travel for site visits and technical support.
- Assist in preparing reports, manuscripts, and in communicating findings to key stakeholders.
