Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the Neurosurgery department at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a graduate of a MD or PhD program preferably with a background in basic sciences, particularly in skull-based Neurosurgery. This individual will work under the supervision of Dr Anil Nanda.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Reviews ongoing research protocols for the Neurosurgery department and for publication purposes.
  • Reviews and edits recorded surgeries for future teaching purposes.
  • Develops new proposals for research-related neurosurgery.
  • Presents at research meetings and educational conferences/grand rounds held within the department.
  • Provides regular updates to the editorial staff regarding the status of manuscripts in preparation.
  • Understands and adheres to legacy UMDNJ compliance standards as they appear in the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy.
  • Keeps abreast of all federal, state, and Rutgers University regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • MD or Ph.D. in biomedical sciences or related disciplines.

  • Individuals must also possess strong writing skills, be well organized and can think independently
