JOB SUMMARY The Director of Prospect Development serves as a member of the Advancement Services Leadership Team and is integral to UT Southwestern's prospect identification and pipeline management efforts. The Director manages the Prospect Development team and will execute a comprehensive prospect development program that identifies, rates, and recommends prospects through biographical, financial, and philanthropic research in support of priority fundraising campaigns. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
10 years progressively responsible experience managing a prospect research and management team, and related infrastructure. Expert understanding of prospect development functions, industry best practices, and fundraising program management. Successful experience implementing policies and best practice procedures in a complex, matrixed fundraising environment.
Master's Degree in a related field.
5 years supervisory/managerial experience.
APRA or APRA North Texas membership. JOB DUTIES
