Job Responsibility:
- Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after each treatment.
- Instruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients practicing or functional activities, under direction of medical staff.
- Record treatment given and equipment used.
- Maintaining inventory and stock of treatment supplies.
- Administer active or passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, or heat, light, sound, water, or electrical modality treatments, such as ultrasound.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
- Communicating with supervisors, and colleagues providing information via phone, written, e-mail or verbally.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Assist with clerical tasks, such as answering phones and scheduling patient appointments.
- Provide outstanding customer service skills to each patient.
- Maintain approachability, energy and contributes to a positive and caring workplace culture.
- Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Varying shifts between the following hours: Mon-Thursday 7a-9p, Fri 7a-7p
Job Qualification:
- Minimum high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Minimum of one-year previous experience in work related field of physical therapy or medical office, previous rehabilitation aide experience is preferred.
