Business Development Manager

Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager within our Aerospace & Energy business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for pursuing & closing sales opportunities within specified accounts in order to meet & exceed their assigned budget. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive mentality, be action oriented, customer focused, and have an entrepreneurial drive. Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry will be critical for this position to ensure a successful transition and success in the role.

* Ability to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; helps develop & negotiate proposals including terms and conditions
* Achieve sales goals by converting, retaining and penetrating assigned accounts
* Establish and proactively maintain a strong professional relationship with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts
* Drive new logos and re-engage with dormant accounts
* Gather and analyze market and industry intelligence, metrics, and trends to determine customer needs
* Follow up in a timely manner on quotations for the assigned customer base
* Build and maintain a working knowledge of Element's service offerings; participate in training/coaching opportunities
* Overall Management of a subset of top customer accounts
* Facilitate Operational Performance Reviews, internally and externally
* Contract management and obligation reviews for Top 10 and other strategic customers
* Develop and execute account plans for strategic customers

* 5+ years of technical and/or sales experience
* Business development experience with companies within the aerospace and/or defense industry required
* Good communication, interpersonal and listening skills
* Demonstrated professional, high standards in personal presentation
* Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time
