We are seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE Lead with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS cloud, DevOps and Terraform. This On Site role requires a deep understanding of these technologies to design implement and maintain scalable and efficient systems.

Location: Irving - TX - Alpharetta, GA - Tampa, FL - Basking Ridge, NJ (On Site)

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients intermediaries and internal Cognizant authorities to build high impact solutions
• Define solution vision and direction building on commonalities and benefits across lines of business and technologies
• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and other AWS services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve their development and deployment workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team

Qualifications:

• Highly experienced DevOps Lead with 12+ years of experience with legacy modernization or digital transformations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, and security groups.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
