Basic Qualifications

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.
Showing initiative and exercising judgement, you'll design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development, analyze effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources and design systems, software and equipment layout. Participating on the engineering work team, you'll develop, implement, install, test, modify and/or operate complex equipment and systems as well as support other team members concerning experiment design, materials, equipment setup/maintenance and related issues.

What you bring to the table
- Linux (RedHat or CENTOS) experience
- Good understanding of server based operating systems
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
- Strong troubleshooting skills within the servers OS as well as both networking and storage technologies
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting large-scale enterprise server solutions

- Supports the development of program required security documentation, including items such as security plans, contingency plans, and security tests plans and procedures in compliance with the IA policy
- Supports the generation of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) (or Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation for the program
- Participates in A&A (or C&A) activities
- Executes or supports execution of security testing and evaluation to ensure the correct implementation of security requirements
- Executes security scanning
- Supports secure maintenance
- As a member of the cyber security team, may support the system security design effort, security requirements analysis, and security requirements flow down to the program elements

- Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10 and 10 set up, deployment and maintenance
- Preferred experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019

- Security +, or equivalent certification
- Proficient in configuration and maintenance of real time operating systems

Workplace options:
- This position is fully onsite
- While onsite you will be part of the NOTU Facility at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Target salary range: USD $83,721.00/Yr. - USD $90,589.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
