New Relic is looking for an experienced Revenue Operations Manager to drive analytics excellence and provide actionable insights that optimize the performance of the global sales organization. The primary focus of this role will be on gathering requirements for analytics, performing data analysis, creating impactful Tableau dashboards, and managing ad hoc reporting to support strategicdecision-making.
As a key member of the Sales Strategy & Programs team, you will collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver high-quality data visualizations, ensure consistent reporting standards, and uncover opportunities to enhance sales effectiveness. You bring strong technical expertise in analytics and data visualization, coupled with a deep understanding of business operations and sales processes.
This is a high-impact role where your ability to deliver precise, insightful, and actionable analytics will contribute significantly to the success of the sales teams and overall business growth. What you'll do
- Gather and document business requirements to support analytics and reporting needs for sales and cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and build reporting to provide clear, actionable insights for decision-making while working as a direct liaison between the Revenue Operations and Enterprise Analytics organizations
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, evaluate performance, and highlight opportunities for growth.
- Develop ad hoc reports and visualizations to support leadership and stakeholders with real-time data and insights.
- Work closely with sales leadership and operations stakeholders to align analytics and reporting deliverables with strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Pre/Post Sales Technical teams to integrate data and streamline reporting workflows.
- Continuously review and refine data processes and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
This role requires
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, or financial analysis, with a focus on analytics andvisualization.
- Expertise in Tableau and Snowflake (or similar BI tools) for dashboard creation and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
- Experience with SQL
- Demonstrated ability to gather and interpret business requirements, translating them into technical analytics deliverables.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to convey insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Business, Analytics, or related).
Bonus points if you have
- Previous experience in SaaS or IT services, with an understanding of go-to-market strategies and revenue operations.
- Familiarity with additional BI tools or programming languages like Python or R.
- Knowledge of sales planning, forecasting, or quota management.
The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
