Responsibilities

The Creo and Windchill Administrator is responsible for maintaining configuring and supporting the Creo CAD and Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems. This role ensures smooth and efficient CAD operations for design engineering and manufacturing teams with a primary focus on managing system architecture user access troubleshooting and integration with other engineering tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in CAD or PLM administration and experience in handling complex configurations in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• System Administration: Install configure and maintain Creo and Windchill software and environments ensuring system stability and performance.
• User Support: Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support to Creo and Windchill users including troubleshooting software issues conducting user training and creating documentation.
• Data and Version Control: Manage design data within Windchill ensuring version control change management and appropriate security settings for compliance and data integrity.
• Customization and Configuration: Develop and implement configurations templates and workflows in Windchill to align with organizational requirements optimizing efficiency in design workflows.
• System Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute software updates patches and upgrades for Creo and Windchill coordinating with IT and engineering departments to minimize downtime.
• Integration and Automation: Work on integrating Creo and Windchill with other enterprise systems (ERP MES etc.) and automate workflows and data exchange to streamline processes.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement best practices for optimizing resource usage and processing speeds.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of system configurations licensing and upgrades generate reports as needed for engineering and management teams.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure that systems comply with industry standards security policies and regulatory requirements for data protection.
