Role Description:

The Facilities Intern will assist the Facilities department with work order management, gathering Key Performance Indicator (KPI) information, and developing monthly reports. The intern will also help gather operational and capital equipment budget information and track contract details. Additionally, they will be responsible for entering requisitions and supporting the overall facilities operations process.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As a summer Intern, we will provide you with:



  • A real-world experience on exciting projects
  • Connections with recent college graduates and our company leaders
  • Performance of assignments under the direct supervision of a department lead
  • Performance of other work-related duties as needed



Your essential functions include, but are not limited to:



  • Work Order Management: Assist with the tracking and updating of work orders, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • KPI Information Gathering: Gather and update Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to assess facilities operations performance.
  • Report Development: Develop and update a monthly report summarizing the operational status, KPIs, and other relevant data.
  • Budget Information Gathering: Assist with gathering and organizing operational and capital equipment budget information.
  • Requisition Entry: Enter requisitions into the system and track their progress.
  • Contract Information Tracking: Assist in tracking contracts related to facilities operations and updating relevant details.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Required Experience:
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience handling administrative tasks, such as data entry and report generation
Minimum Education Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program
Must have at least 30 credit hours complete
Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and report preparation
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
