Location - Plano, TX /Miami, FL The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Migration Architect with deep expertise in the telecom domain to lead data migration efforts for complex telecom infrastructure projects. This role will involve designing and executing data migration strategies for the transition of data across multiple platforms and systems, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance throughout the migration process. As a Migration Architect, you will be responsible for developing a robust migration plan, selecting the right tools and technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of migration with minimal impact on business operations. Good Experience in implementing Data Migration Solution from Legacy Billing Platform (Prepaid/Postpaid) to Oracle BRM stack including BRM, PDC using Oracle BRM Conversion Manager (CMT) Responsibilities: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, in collaboration with stakeholders, to ensure alignment with business goals. Develop comprehensive project plans that detail timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables. Establish project baselines, track project progress, and manage any scope changes through formal change control processes. Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver the project according to the approved scope, timelines, and quality standards. Assign tasks, provide clear direction, and ensure that team members have the necessary resources to execute their work. Promote a collaborative team environment, fostering effective communication and accountability. Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership on a regular basis. Manage expectations and build strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients/vendors. Identify project risks and issues early in the project lifecycle, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. Escalate risks and issues to senior management when necessary, ensuring proper action is taken to minimize impacts to timelines and deliverables. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring the project stays within financial constraints. Track expenditures, resource utilization, and overall cost performance against the budget. Optimize resource allocation, balancing competing demands for both human and material resources. Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications. Establish processes for quality assurance, conduct regular reviews, and make adjustments to ensure project outputs are on target. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, issue logs, and meeting minutes. Provide detailed reports and presentations on project progress to stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones. Document lessons learned during the project and share best practices with the organization. Experience in PIN_CMT is needed A strong understanding of telecoms IT architecture, and Data Migration experience specifically billing & charging architecture (Oracle BRM, PDC), across multiple implementation projects & phases. Experience in migrating to OBRM from Multiple Billing systems, and e2e understanding of Migration Life Cycle including Reconciliations and Reporting, Data Quality Assurance In-depth knowledge of Oracle BRM Conversion Manager Tool (CMT) including Customizations/extensions based on project needs and performance optimizations Project delivery experience across full lifecycle, including business & application architecture, design, implementation, testing, migration Strong customer-facing domain skills Good understanding of telecoms prepaid billing & charging architecture and associated integrations (voucher management, G/L, A/R, taxation integrations). Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to motivate teams and drive results. A strong understanding of telecoms IT architecture, and Data Migration experience specifically billing & charging architecture (Oracle BRM, PDC), across multiple implementation projects & phases. Experience in migrating to OBRM from Multiple Billing systems, and e2e understanding of Migration Life Cycle including Reconciliations and Reporting, Data Quality Assurance In-depth knowledge of Oracle BRM Conversion Manager Tool (CMT) including Customizations/extensions based on project needs and performance optimizations Good understanding of telecoms prepaid billing & charging architecture and associated integrations (voucher management, G/L, A/R, taxation integrations). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an easily understandable format. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail. Solid understanding of budgeting and resource management. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in fast-paced environments. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid. Good to have project management certification like PMP. Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira. Experience in telecommunication project management is a plus. Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
