JOB SUMMARY

As a communications professional, this position develops and maintains relationships with various stakeholders and works with the business's operating companies to plan, develop, implement and evaluate effective communications strategies and programs designed to meet the business's and operating companies' strategic and operational needs, particularly as it relates to the creative, cost-effective and timely use of public relations principles designed to create and maintain a positive corporate reputation with both internal and external audiences. Conducts public relations and communications efforts, particularly for internal audiences, social media platforms, websites and as directed for the business's operating companies and external audiences. In addition, this position may support the business's crisis communications and media relations efforts.

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, mass communications, public relations, marketing communications or a similar field, with emphasis in writing, public relations, media relations and marketing; and
  • Three plus years' professional work experience and demonstrated mastery in such disciplines as corporate communications, public relations, media relations or related experience.


      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



      • Develops and implements effective public relations and communications strategies to support various business initiatives.



      • Ensures public relations and communications strategies maintain and enhance the brands and reputations of the business and its operating companies.



      • Uses effective communications strategies to develop and produce a variety of creative materials, including publications, audio/video products, websites, social media posts, electronic media, advertising, and marketing campaigns.



      • Provides writing services to produce news articles, newsletters, news releases, feature stories, video scripts and other materials.



      • Provides or facilitates through outside vendors and consultants: graphic design, website development, photography, videography, PowerPoint presentations and event planning services, as necessary, to complete various projects for the business and its operating companies.



      • Develops, if necessary, and manages the content of external websites and social media platforms for the business and its operating companies using a combination of internal and external resources, ensuring content is accurate and current.



      • Works with business leaders and employees to increase understanding of and commitment to effective public relations and communication practices.



      • Ensures cost-effective, efficient use of resources through various tracking and reporting procedures for internal clients.



      • Maintains understanding of business issues, goals, objectives, and major initiatives, as well as their impact on stakeholders.



      • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

      • Salary Range $71,460 - $89,330

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


      • Experience working with the news media as a company spokesperson.
      • Experience with the industries in which the company operates.


      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


      • Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
      • Requires moderate travel (up to 25%) including in-state and out-of-state travel by car and/or plane with overnight stays.
      • Background check, MVR and drug screen may be required.
