Job Title: Stock Plan Administrator (Executive Compensation) Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid: 3 days a week in-office) Job Overview: As the Stock Plan Administrator at Ribbon Communications, you'll take charge of administering and managing our global equity incentive programs. This includes overseeing stock plan operations, processing grants, managing equity vesting and exercises, handling award terminations, and tracking share pools. In addition, you'll work closely with our Global Total Rewards team, HR Business Partners, and Finance teams, ensuring alignment across departments while supporting senior leadership with reports and strategic guidance on equity compensation. You'll also be responsible for maintaining our stock plan administration platform, generating key reports, providing data analysis, and contributing to various projects. Your expertise in equity administration will help ensure compliance with both domestic and international regulations while maintaining the integrity of our equity data. Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day equity administration for a variety of equity compensation programs, including grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations. Prepare SEC filing reports (10-K, 10-Q, proxy statements) and generate custom reports to support financial disclosures. Support senior leadership with presentations and materials for the Compensation Committee, CEO, and executive team on equity plan design, performance, and stock recommendations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Legal, Finance, and HR to ensure equity communication compliance with federal, state, and international laws. Maintain up-to-date participant data in partnership with HR and Finance, ensuring all records are accurate and complete. Audit and reconcile complex data sets, ensuring the accuracy of calculations and resolving discrepancies in equity award activities. Assist Finance with forecasting and budgeting of equity compensation, including monthly financial reporting and journal entries. Act as the lead for equity-related audit requests, coordinating with both internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and responses. Support tax-related requests for internal teams and external tax partners, ensuring tax compliance in equity compensation. Implement SOX controls and best practices to maintain the highest standards in equity compensation administration. Stay ahead of regulatory changes (federal, state, international) and ensure the company's equity programs remain compliant. Maintain and update educational resources on the company's internal website, providing employees with valuable equity plan information. Offer exceptional customer service to internal teams and equity plan participants, providing guidance and training on equity topics. Lead or participate in special projects as needed, contributing to continuous improvement in equity plan management.
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
Location Requirement: Must be able to work in the Plano, TX office at least 3 days a week. Experience: 5+ years in stock administration with experience in a U.S. public company. Expertise in Equity Edge: High proficiency with the Equity Edge platform. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy and ability to perform self-audits. Independent & Organized: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while balancing competing priorities. Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. GAAP accounting and SEC regulations (ASC 718) as they apply to equity administration. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret complex data, drawing actionable conclusions. Deadline-Driven: Consistently meets deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Self-Motivated: Highly accountable with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
