SUMMARY Overall responsibility/accountability for all aspects of day-to-day operations, to facilitate the maximization of resources for customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence and economic goals by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise 2 to 50 or more employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current valid applicable provincial drivers license.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Other: Salary: We maintain broad salary ranges for our roles in order to account for variations in experience, training skills, geographic location, and market conditions, as well as to reflect our differing products and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting.
