Job Summary The Digital Campaigns Intern will work closely with the Director of External Mobilization, the Digital Communications Specialist, and the entire External Mobilization team at API. This role offers an immersive experience in digital communications, grassroots mobilization, and advocacy campaigns. The intern will play a key role in executing campaigns across multiple platforms, contributing to the team's strategic goals and helping drive the success of digital engagement initiatives. Through this internship, the candidate will gain valuable, hands-on experience in content creation, campaign strategy, and digital tools, while developing a deeper understanding of grassroots advocacy and the role of digital communications in shaping public policy. The intern will also have opportunities to refine their professional writing, project management, and analytical skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Projects and Tasks
Qualifications
Candidates should have a strong interest in digital communication and advocacy, with a passion for creating content that engages and mobilizes audiences. While prior professional experience is not required, familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing, or website content management is helpful. Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. An interest in public policy, grassroots advocacy, and the role of the oil and natural gas industry in powering the economy is highly encouraged. Experience with tools like Salesforce, Canva, or similar platforms is a plus, but a willingness to learn and experiment with new digital tools is just as valuable. Physical Requirements
