POSITION SUMMARY:

Our site in Decatur, TX is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in aligning the Human Resources strategy to Entegris business goals. This role will be critical in building organizational capabilities by attracting, engaging, developing and retaining top talent within the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into critical HR actions, programs, and initiatives.

  • Provide HR solutions support, process knowledge/advice and consultation to business and operations management.

  • Builds strong business partnerships across the assigned site and within the broader organization.

  • Act as a catalyst for change; guides and directs organizational design, development and change management solutions.

  • Champion of Safety culture and participation in Safety initiatives where needed.

  • Participates in Gemba walks.

  • Support recruitment, payroll, benefits, compensation, training management and development, compliance, unemployment claims, worker's compensation, performance management.

  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence partners to execute and implement large-scale HR initiatives (i.e. recruitment, annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.)

  • Participate in HR continuous improvement projects and initiatives

  • Utilize data to solve complex business issues and provide recommendations to leaders

  • Communicate complex information in an understandable, organized, concise manner

  • Coach management team on leadership and HR issues including application and interpretation of HR policies and processes, complex employee issues, and organizational design.

  • Conduct employee relations investigations and bring to resolution.

  • Provide direct support to leadership and employees on matters of varying complexities.

  • Assist with orientation and training as necessary.

  • Consult with leaders and employees on performance reviews, compensation change/adjustment, merit, and promotional increases, etc.

  • Assist leaders in evaluating staffing resources and movement to address business human resource needs.

  • Participates in the selection process for recruitment for key positions.

  • Supports change management related to the implementation of organizational programs and solutions.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the business and operations through exposure to business activities.

  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.

  • Ensures understanding and compliance with ITAR regulations from an HR perspective.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or related field.

  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience

  • Experience with working in a manufacturing environment, muti-building site.

  • A working knowledge of US employment laws

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and partnering with corporate functions.

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Strong ethics and reliability.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with and influence all levels of the organization

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects and issues

  • Willing to travel up to 10%

  • Proven capability working with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish effective and collaborative relationships.

OUTSTANDING CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

  • HR certification desired (SHRM, HRCI)

  • Proven experience leading and supporting large change management initiatives.

  • Ability to innovate and willing to challenge the status quo.

  • Experience with Workday

  • Experience with Career Ladder/Job Architecture designs.
