Wabtec is hiring a full-time skilled Heavy Equipment Product Technician to join our team in Oak Creek, WI. If you have experience in heavy equipment troubleshooting and a passion for quality testing, this could be your next career opportunity!

1st Shift | 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay | $27 - $32 per hour depending on experience

Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of troubleshooting or related experience with heavy equipment
  • Proficient with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic controlled circuits, including PLC and CAN-bus systems
  • Experience using measurement tools, such as flow meters, pressure gauges, and voltage meters
  • Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and drawings
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Heavy Equipment Product Technician Responsibilities



  • Perform quality validation testing on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, identify non-conformances, communicate repair needs, and assist with both production and prototype machine testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams.
  • Create and maintain testing procedures.
  • Audit assembly to ensure it meets internal and external specifications.
  • Communicate completion of final testing for production and prototype machines.
