Opportunity to provide groups and programming for adults who are working to improve their quality of life while living with a mental illness.

The person working on the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Team provides interventions that are provided in a classroom environment, using curricula that are developed to support psychoeducation and skill training in areas relevant to supporting independence and enhancing involvement in the community.

The preferred candidate is someone who instills hope and believes that recovery is possible, who is energetic and is excited about creating a welcome and inclusive environment for our clients, who demonstrates a passion working with people who have a severe mental illness, and who is comfortable in a classroom environment.

Responsibilities

* Teaches psychoeducational curricula.

* Engages with clients 1-on-1 to reinforce skills learned.

* Creates and revises curriculum for classes.

* Maintains accurate and compliant documentation and clinical records.

* Performs concurrent documentation per agency standard; provides individual and group interventions with a focus on skill building, education, problem-solving and symptom stabilization.

* Manages a case load and maintains regular contact with clients - supporting their work in building skills to support independence.

* Works collaboratively with providers to support care coordination.

* Develops and maintains client treatment plans.

* Demonstrates the ability to engage clients with comprehensive needs in their recovery process.

* Maintains professional relationships with community systems and resources to support client needs.

* Maintains required training, licensure and/or certification; maintains confidentiality of privileged information and adheres to client privacy laws.

* Demonstrates sensitivity and understanding of other ethnic groups and cultures.

Requirements

Completion of a bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work or related field. This position requires that you must be 21 years of age.
