Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic team. This role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, analysis, and reporting within a professional environment. The intern will support our finance department in day-to-day operations while working on meaningful projects that contribute to the organization's success.

Job responsibilities will be linked to key project scopes to support Finance in a variety of areas:

Financial Analysis:



  • Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing reports to support decision-making.
  • Conduct research on market trends, financial forecasts, and other relevant data.
  • Identify trends and anomalies in financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Support the preparation of management reports, including variance analysis (actual vs. budget).
  • Create financial models and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as cost reduction, pricing analyses, or funding evaluations.


Forecasting:



  • Support the preparation of financial projections, monitoring actual versus budgeted expenses and revenues.
  • Track budget utilization across departments and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial performance and trends against forecasts and prepare detailed variance reports.


Audit & Compliance:



  • Reconcile financial statements and ensure accuracy in records.
  • Maintain and organize financial documentation and databases.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Input financial data into accounting systems and ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for external audits and compliance reviews.


Other:



  • Identify inefficiencies in existing financial processes and provide enhancements.
  • Participate in developing templates, tools, and workflows to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects such as system implementations or process automation.


Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of curiosity with eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
