Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Java/AWS Developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Location: Plano, TX.

• Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

• Involve in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment
• Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka)
• Solve, debug and upgrade software
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Contributes to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills. nd works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Invest API , Oracle, Kafka
• Experienced with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3,RDS, terraform). AWS Developer or Solution Architect certification preferred.
• Good to have experience in any of the rules engine (Ex. Drools)
• Good to have experience in JPMC on-premises cloud (Gaia)
• Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins
• Strong communication skills and experienced in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology.
• Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving
• Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.
