Position Title: Manager, Human Resources Position Structure: Exempt Employee Type: Full-time regular Supervisor Title: Senior Director, Human Resources Department: Head Start Division: US Programs & Advocacy Summary The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for ensuring Head Start standards, regulations, and Save the Children-Head Start policies and procedures are implemented consistently and in full compliance with all applicable standards. You will work as a part of the management team and would be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable State and federal laws, and the implementation of program policies and practices relative to Human Resources, including planning, organizing, developing, coordinating, record keeping, reporting, and monitoring. You will be responsible for center recruitment, orientation, training, performance management, employee recognition, communication, disciplinary matters and management of employee exit procedures, and will report to the Director of Human Resources-Head Start. What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties) Talent Attraction and Acquisition (40%)
Child Safeguarding (20%)
HR Administration, Compliance, Oversight and Employee Relations (30%)
Community Relations (10%)

This position requires the incumbent to operate a motor vehicle to fulfill certain essential functions of the job. The incumbent should maintain a valid driver's license and remain in compliance with any Save the Children policies pertaining to the safe operation of motor vehicles. Current and former Head Start/Early Head Start parents will receive preference for employment vacancies for which they are qualified. Compensation The base pay for this position is starting at $54,549. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, experience, credentials, base salary of internal peers and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
