Job Summary

Otsuka's internship program, Intern the Otsuka Way (InTOW), offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, learn about the complexities of the pharmaceutical industry, and gain insights into potential career paths. By combining practical experience with professional development, our program prepares interns for future success. Our internship program also includes instructor led trainings, a leadership engagement series, as well as insightful lunch and learns.

Job Description

  • Otsuka Precision Health (OPH) is at the forefront of healthcare transformation - leveraging data, technology, and personalized interactions to provide tailored solutions.   • Primary responsibilities may include Support review of health experience research, assess current literature and gaps within the health experience field, research and assess services for women's physical and mental health, and review the ecosystem of healthcare and one's individualized journey.

  • Initiatives may include: 1. Health Experience Development Publications: The intern will be responsible for assessing current literature on health experience published in scientific journals. They will have the opportunity in collaboration with the Director of Health Experience Development to work on publications based on use cases from OPH-PXS in scientific and health technology journals. 2. Cultivate New and Innovative offerings in Women's Health: Opportunity to research evidence-based methods for new technologies in menopause. This research will influence new technologies, and our Patient Experience offerings in the future for OPH. In addition, to cross-functionally work with team members even outside of the PXS Performance Pillar (i.e. Corporate Development, and other Otsuka Companies) 3. Health Experience Development: Review the ecosystem of healthcare and one's individualized journey mapping to complex disease states and behaviors.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • By Fall 2025 candidate must be considered a/ undergrad rising senior and/or advanced degree student.

  • Health Psychology and/or related field

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship.

  • Can commit to full duration of internship program.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Relevant coursework or experience

  • Strong technical skills (e.g., software proficiency, data analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum $18.00 - Maximum $22.00: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for candidates hired to perform the work. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate's educational background and specific skills.
