Job Summary :

Otsuka's internship program, Intern the Otsuka Way (InTOW), offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, learn about the complexities of the pharmaceutical industry, and gain insights into potential career paths. By combining practical experience with professional development, our program prepares interns for future success. Our internship program also includes instructor led trainings, a leadership engagement series, as well as insightful lunch and learns.

Job Description

The Global Pharmacovigilance (GPV) organization is responsible for managing the risk-benefit and safety profiles of all Otsuka products.

This individual will be working within the GPV Strategy and Operations group which works in conjunction with the functional areas within GPV to address alloperationalitems within case management, aggregate reporting, Risk Management Plans, PV Health Authorityresponses and safety governance and ensure highcompliance.

Through this internship, the individual will gain an understanding of processing safety information that comes in for all of Otsuka's product as well as an understanding of operational aspects of aggregate safety analysis in the PV department.

This individual will be assigned to a project around safety information/reporting where they will gain an understanding of the regulations and assist with tasks on the project that will be assigned to them when the project has been setup.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • By Fall 2025 candidate must be considered a/n Undergraduate or Graduate

  • Major or field of study - PharmD or RN

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship.

  • Can commit to full duration of internship program.

  • Strong technical skills (e.g., software proficiency, data analysis, excellent communication and interpersonal skills)
