About the role Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs. We are looking for aGeologistfor the Underground Drilling Team who will assist in all aspects of the UG drilling programs with a strong emphasis on management of data for the Drilling and Underground Production Team. You will design drilling plans for resource, in-fill, geotechnical and hydrological programs, log drill core, update Geological and Production models. Data management will be a large component of the role with entry of data, QA/QC of the data, development of data management tools and reporting being the principal responsibilities. This role is a great opportunity to influence all aspects of underground diamond drilling, manage drilling data collection, and build geological, geotechnical and production models in support of underground operations and production. The role is critical to ongoing mine operations and future expansions in terms of geological and resource knowledge. Reporting to the Senior Drilling Geologist, you will:

Where you'll be working Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation, including a concentrator, smelter and refinery, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States.
