Product Information Analyst Lead

Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Winona, MN or Greensboro, NC

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 4:00pm
MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time Product Information Analyst Lead, you will compile, maintain and manage product specific content and data, while supporting Fastenals best practices on data consistency and governance. You will be part of a fast paced team that spans our global locations and works with multiple business units including eCommerce, Supply Chain, IT, Product Development, Sales and Business Operations. You will mentor and train team members to work towards a common goal of establishing consistency and higher quality of data across the organization and for our customers. You will be a point of communication between our supplier content and development teams and our suppliers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Facilitating the product onboarding process and administrating through the product life cycle

o Leading projects related to SKU creation and master item data

o Enforcing data governance strategies on incoming data and content from our suppliers

o Onboarding product specific content on behalf of a variety of departments

o Executing data optimization efforts

o Maintaining a high level of communication between Supplier Content Managers, Supplier Development Managers and Content/Data Management personnel from our suppliers

o Mentoring, training and supporting team members

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Communications or a related field of study OR have industry related administrative, customer service or product knowledge

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deducting reasoning and decision making skills

o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities

o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Proficient using eCommerce platforms

o Proficient with Product Information Management Applications/Databases
