Site/Civil Engineering Specialist

STV is looking for a Full-Time Civil Site Development Engineering Specialist for our Louisville, KY office. Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Prepare project plans, specifications, bid documents and work with the Site Development Group
  • Perform civil design calculations (i.e., grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, utility design, etc.), sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignment!
  • Assist in developing client capture plans and pursuit win plans, proposals, etc.
  • Develop and enhance client relationships, serve as the primary company contact, and deliver quality projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client
  • Ensure project conformance to plans, client needs and budget
  • Coordinate project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians
  • Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and ensure conformance
  • Research code issues and work with City, State, and County officials
  • Research design options and document findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers
  • Attend "kick-off" and design review meetings and interact with clients
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
  • 0 years of experience in Civil Site development or construction management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic MS Office Suite software required
  • Proficiency in oral and written communications

Compensation Range:

$50,076.12 - $66,768.17
