Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Powder Coat Painter applies powder coat paint to products using a manual spray gun and automated coating system, maintaining required paint thickness and ensuring high quality finishes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coating manufactured parts consistent with powder coat paint to customer and internal quality requirements

Inspecting material from fabrication shop

Operating all coating equipment including: manual spray guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems

Using the paint line efficiently with minimal stoppages and gaps

Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.

Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction



Qualifications

    High School diploma or equivalent preferre d
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Knowledge of powder paint characteristics and application, the operation and repair of painting equipment, and material preparation
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Team orientation
