JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Sales is a critical, business-facing role within the Business Technology team. In this role, you will work with our business units to understand their business strategy and Sales goals, enabling you to deliver technology solutions that support their objectives. You will act as a liaison between multiple business units and our technology teams. The ideal candidate enjoys analyzing complex issues, running projects from requirements to deployment, communicating effectively at multiple levels within an organization, and is detailed and organized in their approach. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the Sales business organization, strategies, goals, and priorities for the functional organizations they support.
• Possess knowledge of business processes such as forecasting, account planning, territory management, revenue recognition, and opportunity management.
• Contribute to roadmap planning for assigned business segments through project intake, prioritization, and impact analysis.
• Analyze new project requests with the architecture team to assess scope, impact, and effort.
• Assist in developing business cases for projects, define return on investment, and articulate risks and trade-offs in solution approaches.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and document business requirements.
• Develop project artifacts, including user stories, process flow diagrams, detailed functional and technical design specifications, test plans, and training materials.
• Understand the concept of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and iterative delivery to provide value quickly.
• Support development and architecture teams in solution design.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills across supported tools, including application navigation, technical assessments, testing, implementation of required changes, and adherence to best practices. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Evaluate and recommend software tools and systems.
• Act as an internal consultant; analyze business processes, system performance, and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Perform basic system administration, including managing profiles and permissions, security, custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows, approval processes, formulas, validation rules, and data management.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to build consensus, set clear expectations, and achieve desired outcomes.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deliverable timelines.

Essential Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or operations-focused role.
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com; certifications are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
• Prior experience working in the software industry is preferred.
