Job Summary

The PowerApp Developer you will scope, design, develop and rollout low/no code end to end solutions utilising the Microsoft Power Platform alongside the wider Microsoft environment that can be built and deployed quickly to drive improved collaboration and productivity across the GP Strategies business. You will work in collaboration with the GP Solution Architect, data engineer's, System and BI developers, as well as central IT functions to ensure solutions are scalable and supported and meet the needs of the business and provide value.

Qualifications



  • You'll have strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, architecture, and components. Demonstrable experience developing in PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Portals and SharePoint with a deep understanding of the Microsoft approach of Model-Driven Apps. You'll understand PowerApps administration and have strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 / Azure and integrating PowerApps applications with third-party cloud solutions through APIs.
  • The Power Platform Developer is responsible for the following core activities: -


o Scope and develop power platform solutions in conjunction with business users and other solution architects
o Working with the core Power platform technologies deliver optimised solutions including:
o PowerApps Canvas Application
o Cloud & Desktop Flows
o Model driven application with Dataverse (MS Structured Database) for specific environments
o PowerApps Custom Connector
o Utilize standard and premium connectors
o Configure and develop Power Virtual Agents
o Leverage AI Builder (where appropriate)
o Utilising knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform to develop the operational tools to underpin the Business's core operating functions for our clients, with the aim to make these platforms available to the wider customer base.
o Ensuring all technical tasks are fully documented with steps taken to resolve issues clearly communicated within the detail of user stories and implementation notes.
o Ensuring the quality of solutions and their components to minimise the impact of deployment and configuration tasks.
o Be responsible for the quality of your work to accelerate deployment and reduce post deployment rework
o Provide technical input on appropriate technologies for building and deployment of solutions where the power platform is not suitable
o Work with relevant teams to clear technical blockers to accelerate power platform usage
