The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design efforts in a wide variety of market sectors with a specific focus on industrial projects such as Semiconductor Manufacturing, Data Centers, and other Advanced Manufacturing projects.

The Mechanical Engineer may work under the direction of a Senior Engineer in a cross-discipline team including architects, other engineering disciplines, contractors, and clients.

This role requires knowledge and understanding of the following:

• Mechanical Engineering systems and components such as pumps, coils, heat exchangers, and fans;
• Heating/Cooling loads calculations;
• HVAC equipment selections;
• Air and water plant distribution piping and ductwork sizing;
• Ventilation calculations;
• Pipe stress analysis calculations;
• CFD analysis calculations.

Calculations will be done using software tools such as IES, Pipe-Flo, Rhor2, and 6SigmaRoom. Prior knowledge of the software is a plus but not required.

In addition, the engineer will be responsible for the creation of drawings and specifications, participating in site walks, code analysis, and project meetings as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering;
• 6+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in an engineering consulting firm or similarly related industry;
• Professional Engineering license required;
• Developing knowledge of mechanical systems design;
• Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (preferred);
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
