Our Fraud Strategy & Analytics team plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our products while delivering a seamless experience to our customers. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Fraud Strategy & Analytics with deep expertise in SAS, R, and SQL to lead the development of fraud prevention strategies for Account Takeover (ATO), Enrollment Fraud, and Card Fraud. This role requires a highly analytical and strategic thinker who can leverage data science techniques, machine learning, and predictive modeling to proactively detect and mitigate fraud risks.

What you'll be doing

    Fraud Strategy & Risk Management:
  • Develop and optimize fraud prevention strategies for ATO, Enrollment Fraud, and Card Fraud by leveraging analytics, behavioral data, and machine learning models.
  • Monitor fraud trends, detect emerging threats, and create proactive risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Compliance, and Technology, to implement fraud controls without negatively impacting the user experience.
  • Utilize SAS, R, and SQL to build data-driven fraud detection models and enhance fraud rules.
  • Analytics & Performance Optimization
  • Design and deploy machine learning models to enhance fraud detection and improve fraud loss forecasting.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover fraud patterns, identify vulnerabilities, and drive continuous improvements in fraud detection strategies.
  • Track and report key fraud metrics, provide actionable insights, and optimize fraud controls based on performance.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead a team of fraud analysts and data scientists to drive fraud risk initiatives.
  • Serve as the fraud subject matter expert (SME) and provide strategic guidance on fraud prevention best practices.
  • Collaborate with external fraud intelligence networks, law enforcement, and industry peers to stay ahead of evolving fraud threats.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in fraud risk management, fraud analytics, or financial crimes strategy.

  • Expert proficiency in SAS, R, and SQL for fraud analytics, data mining, and predictive modeling.

  • Strong understanding of fraud detection tools, machine learning techniques, and anomaly detection.

  • Experience working with fraud detection solutions (e.g., device fingerprinting, behavioral analytics, machine learning fraud models).

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies for ATO, Enrollment Fraud, and Card Fraud.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with a strong focus on results.

  • Experience in fraud risk within FinTech, banking or payments industries.

  • Knowledge of fraud-related regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with fraud detection platforms like Plaid, Pindrop, Fiserv, Tranmit Security, or Visa Risk Manager.

Salary Range

$127000.00 To $165,000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
